Apprevio ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use our SDK and website (apprevio.io).

1. Information We Collect

When app developers integrate the Apprevio SDK into their applications, the following data may be collected from end users:

• Star ratings selected by the user
• Keywords chosen by the user
• Generated review text created by AI based on user selections
• Device platform (iOS or Android)
• Device locale (language/region setting)
• App identifier provided by the developer
• Timestamp of the review generation event

We do not collect names, email addresses, or any personally identifiable information from end users through the SDK.

When you sign up on our waitlist via apprevio.io, we collect your email address.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and improve the Apprevio SDK service
• To generate analytics and insights for app developers (e.g. which keywords are most selected)
• To contact waitlist subscribers about early access and product updates
• To detect abuse and ensure service quality

3. AI-Generated Content

The Apprevio SDK uses Anthropic's Claude API to generate review text. User-selected keywords and star ratings are sent to Anthropic's API to produce this text. Please refer to Anthropic's Privacy Policy for information on how they handle data.

Generated review text is created dynamically and is not stored permanently beyond what is necessary for analytics purposes.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We may share data with:

• Anthropic — for AI text generation (keywords and ratings only)
• Supabase — our database infrastructure provider
• App developers — aggregated analytics about their own app's review activity

5. Data Retention

Review event data is retained for up to 24 months for analytics purposes. Waitlist email addresses are retained until you unsubscribe. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights under GDPR, CCPA, or other privacy laws, including the right to access, correct, or delete your data. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@apprevio.io.

7. Cookies

Our website does not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies. We may use essential cookies for basic website functionality only.

8. Children's Privacy

Apprevio is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of significant changes by email.
